Day 3...short post

Another great day on the water, everything is still working as advertised. We traveled 73 miles today with one perfect pass through 1 lock. A few sprinkles today but nothing like yesterday. The rest of the week looks really nice. There is no wifi here so this is another iPad post. I noticed the font is different from here versus the computer, sorry for that.

One thing about the iPad is that I don't have many pictures to share. One thing I can show you is the chart plotter I am using on the iPad. Garmin Bluechart is a free download and the charts for the entire US and Bahamas is a $30 download. I found out today that I can record my course...not sure how I get it off of here but I'll work on that later. Here is a screen shot of part of our trip today.

I'm not sure what a $13,000 system does that this doesn't but this works for now. If you have a cellular capable iPad the GPS is always live so you don't need to have a contract to use this program, pretty cool.

I have a bunch of great pictures from today...hopefully I can share them with you tomorrow.
